Transportation Corridor Approved

Described as a “natural fit” Sarnia Council endorsed city staff participation, as an in-kind contribution, in the creation of a transportation corridor to the St Clair River at its meeting Monday.

Councillor Jon McEachran thinks its a move in the right direction.
Sarnia-Lambton Industrial Alliance Chairman Paul Healy says the oversized fabricated metal modules are already being built locally, so we may as well economize on it.

The cost of infrastructure improvements to the Port of Sarnia has been estimated at 3.6 million dollars. The work would include raising or burying power lines, re-inforcing culverts and widening intersections.
